Since its opening in 1980, Juliana Gallery has presented the exhibitions of great Korean artists of 20th Century art history. Through introducing the masterpieces that make important marks in the history of art, Juliana Gallery has offered both general public and collectors of fine arts great chances to experience art in more active and closer view. From 1990, Juliana Gallery introduced many significant artists of the world such as LeWitt, Tapies, and Warhol. Also, we have represented the newest trend of art to narrow down the gap between conventional Korean exhibitions and the art shows in the art leading nations. These efforts led the audiences to take a step forward to higher level of the art exhibitions. Juliana Gallery has participated in many international art fairs as well, expanding its reputation widely. 쥴리아나 갤러리는 1980년 기획전문 화랑으로 개관하여 그동안 현대미술의 중요한 작가들을 주로 Topshow로 기획, Solo Exhibition으로 선보였으며, 의미 있고 비중 있는 그룹전 또한 예술인과 애호가는 물론, 일반 대중에게까지 예술에 대한 열정과 관심을 갖게 하였습니다. 특히 1990 글로벌 시대를 맞이하여 솔르윗, 앤디워홀, 안토니 타피에스, 후안 미로 등 20세기 위대한 작가들의 국제전을 장르별로 기획, 세계 미술계의 흐름을 동시간대에 소개하여 우리의 전시문화의 틀을 바꾸는 계기가 되었으며 또한 선진 미술 문화와의 격차를 줄이는 데에도 큰 역할을 하였습니다. 그리고 매년 세계의 New Contemporary작가들을 선정 전시는 물론 세계 미술관과 화랑 그리고 국제 아트쇼에서 보다 전문적으로 활동 영역을 확장시켜 나아가고 있습니다. 이렇듯 쥴리아나 갤러리는 30년간 우리의 전시문화를 선도하여 한국 현대미술을 발전시키는데 크게 기여하는 업적을 이루어 냈습니다. 앞으로도 쥴리아나 갤러리는 더욱더 큰 기획으로 멋진 환상적인 공간에서 최고의 Topshow로 Masterpiece를 보여 드릴 것을 약속 드립니다.
